A Boston reporter has been sent west to create a newspaper selling expose' on the famous Buffalo Bill Cody. When he arrives at the great showman's camp, Cody quickly sets the record straight. When a few of Cody's famous friends show up, the reporter learns what being a legend means. Will it be back to Boston or a new residence in boot hill?
